Great app, big library for free. So many free books.

There are good books, but the voices of the books are so robotic!!!!! At least its free..... also, no fantasy books!!!

All books downloaded play in double speed with no explanation on how to fix it.

This app sucked. It didnt have any of the books I searched. On a scale from 1-10 ten being the best I give it a negative 500. Honestly just read the book, its better than this app.

I can find no faults in the app or any other ungrateful petty scruples which might seek fault in the most excellent thing. This is fabulous, free (I did buy plus books) and easy to navigate. I dont understand nor wish to understand the complaints a few have with this app and its content. And so much content found within the app would help the insufferable complainer. BRAVO! Thank all who have poured so much effort into creating this good for free.

I love this app. I have listened to so many great classics. The best way to get audio books free.

I got this app hoping I could have good free audiobooks available but what I found was that all the books were incredibly dated and even the paid ones were not from the past 5 years. I could not find any of my favorite books and the audio sample was hard to listen to. Probably better for someone who enjoys classic literature.

Had this for about three days and finally got annoyed enough with the crashing, I deleted it. I actually enjoyed this app but it really stinks when youre scrolling through titles and get kicked out repeatedly. If the kinks get worked through Id love to download it again.

5/22/15 Installed the latest upgrade on my iPad Air 2, anticipating big usability improvements after some communication with the Developer & reading his description of the changes in this major update. Darn, Ive hit 3 problems already, the last one is a doozy and makes me VERY glad that I did not upgrade this app on my iPhone 5s yet, since the previous version on the iPhone still has better functionality in My Library, that the new version on iPad. 1) My Library: the iPad has a big screen, yet the display area of "My Library" still uses only about 2.5"x2.5" of it. No improvement there. So, I can still only see TWO TITLES at a time, in a My Library list that has ~30 titles. 2) My Library: some of us have lots of storage space, and read/listen to books fast, so we download DOZENS of titles to listen to during an overseas vacation. Especially given that I can only see 2 of those titles at a time, scrolling down like a madwoman to find the next book I want to hear, is a pain. No, its a PAIN. Sure wish hed given us a search/browse capability so we could list, say "all Edgar Rice Burroughs books in My Library". Or "all books with World in the title, in My Library". 3) Pause button is broken. Yep. Had to swipe up my Control Panel to use the iOS "pause button" to stop an audio book that I didnt want to listen to anyway. Did I mention that the "My Library" delete function is SO tricky to access with a left-swipe, that it takes 1 - 7 attempts to get the red "delete" square to appear? The thing is, some of those attempts result in the app thinking Ive selected the book to listen too right now, when I was swiping left each time, trying to delete the downloaded files on the dang title. Then I cant use the "pause" button. Oh yeah, that woke my hubbie up, thanks... :-p I thought it was very worth it, to upgrade from "free" app to the "no-ads, Paid" version. I also had the intent to write an explanatory Review on the "paid" version in Apple Store, for all those users who complain about the readers and the titles and authors available in the Free Downloads of this App. But I apparently dont qualify as a "purchaser" of the Paid version, because I paid to upgrade my Free version of the App. Anyway, this App is very useful. Sure, there are some usability improvements to the "My Library" for the iPad, and search functionality improvements to be made (Developer responded very favorably to my emailed feedback & suggestions, btw) ... but otherwise, its GREAT! I want to mention... this App access the Librivox Projects online database for all its FREE books! This Developer has no control over what that separate organization does, so dont downgrade his App if you are only upset about the free titles and "plus" titles... they are all coming from Librivox. I appreciate that Librivox is working to make these wonderful older books more accessible, that they use volunteer readers (Im guessing that the reader gets to pick the book they will make a recording of), that they try to make better "plus" versions of favorite books by somehow enticing the better volunteer readers to do them, in better recording environments. I know there are some newer books available to buy with this App, but to me, its primary purpose is to make the Librivox titles VERY accessible to the mobile device owner. Im glad the Developer has an arrangement with the people at Librivox!

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading books contained within this app. I have had no problems downloading books no problems listening to books except one. Sometimes the readers voice is so low that it becomes very difficult to hear what they are saying. This is particularly true in the books in the public domain. For instance I am reading the old Jack London book White Fang and one of the readers speak so low that I have to hold my iPhone to my ear to hear anything. But other than this rare volume issue I feel this is a fantastic app and has given me many hours of free enjoyment. I certainly think it is worth a try to see if you enjoy it and if not you can easily remove it. Good listening to all who wish to try! Chuck

I listen to new stories all the time in this app! I think there are more than enough books to listen to - but everyone needs to understand that you can only listen to public domain books! Thats never been a problem for me - I like these classics!

I use this app almost daily. Reading has become difficult and there is wonderful variety to choose from. I would have given it five stars if there was a timer on it. Thanks for a really good app though!

I go to open the app and its a white screen with audiobooks at the top then it kicks me off

I cant even find a James Patterson!!! What in the world?!?

Please divide the free library into categories!
