Audiobooks App Reviews

Love...but

Love the the variety of books. Especially the older mysteries. What I dont like about this new version is that the book Im listening to is no longer at the top of my library.

Only old books

I couldnt find any books that werent really old.

Walled garden.

Stuck with their library. I just wanted to play audiobooks I already have, for which this app is unprepared.

Update

Please update this app cause everyone I try to listen to an audiobook the app stops and closes out on its own. I love this app and I want to continue to use this app. Please fix this problem.

Not sure about this app

It was great until it began crashing.

Sucked!

It was going good then it kept crashing!!

Excellent

Nicely formatted app. Well constructed and simply laid out. The only problem is a lack of contacts format where one can put into specific categories such as groups by subjects and dates.

Great

Great app. No problems and good audio books.

Boring!!!

I cant find ANY of the books I like to read! No warrior cats, no Percy Jackson, not even A Dog Called Kitty! Also, its incredibly laggy and takes forever to download a book... The only book I found appealing. Dont download it its a waste of data and space!

Chock full of treasures

1st, this app has become one of my favorites recently. 2nd, although the recent updates have not been perfect, I find them no where near as bad as some of my fellow reviewers are saying. And some things have improved 3rd, thanks to Project Gutenberg, LibriVox, and this app, so many of these great classics are available free to all. You can still buy editions of some of these books either in hard copy, eBook, & audiobook form (albeit read by professional readers), for big $s. Others, you cant find anywhere except perhaps rare bookstores. Im sorry, but these are treasures, people:

AUDIOBOOKS

Whenever an update appears, which is seldom Im a bit perplex, to me everything is spot on. Yall Keep perfecting, perfection. Awesome, Audible.com

Try it!

I really like this app. I have only listened to the free books but I like the fact that there are sometimes more than one version. Sometimes one voice is better than another. It is nice to be able to enjoy a book on the commute to work.

Glad to have

Many hours driving over the road trucker. Glad to have these books to break the road dull drums.

Narrators

Some narrators should just not be chosen. Its very frustrating not to be able to understand a chapter in the middle of the book.

Great!

Hours of entertainment.

Great with "Plus" purchase

I find that the free, regular audiobooks get distracting with the "librivox" ad at the start of every chapter, and the fact that often times each chapter is read by someone new (some of the volunteers have *amazing* reading voices, while others...not so much). However, the Plus Audiobooks tend to have the same reader from start to finish. Its just a shame that the Plus collection is not as large as the free collection, hence the lower rating. I feel like if I am paying for something, I should have a larger selection to choose from. Otherwise, I enjoy the app quite a bit, and have yet to run into issues outside of my own pickiness.

......

No good books. In my opinion they should add more books because to me they arent very interesting books

Best of breed

This is not only the only player I like, it is the only one I dont hate! The Apple Watch feature is very nice, too...

Boring

Guy narrating is very boring, and there are only old old books, like Romeo and Juliet. No Harry Potter or hunger games, maze runner, or anything like that.

Great app

Does what it says. Voluminous material. Nice extras like timer, genre search, author search, etc. Whats not to like?
